And since Kindle 2 just had a price slash recently, it is definitely the better buy. Compared to used Kindle 1 it is just a hundred dollars difference. So take the chance.

They are about the same, however the Kindle 2 is larger format.

I own the Kindle 2 and I like it very much. In my opinion, the Kindle 2 is absolutely worth the $100 extra. Get it and you won’t regret!
