How much cheaper are books bought online for the Kindle device?
I’m thinking about buying a Kindle from Amazon. The pros are pretty clear: environmentally friendly, compact, and low price for new books. But how much cheaper are electronic book copies compared to traditional paperbacks? I’m hoping it’s at least 50% cheaper; the 9 price for the Kindle itself is a bit scary.

It can save quite a lot of money in long term. For me, I think I’ve read over 30 books with my Kindle after I got it a few months, no glitches so far! It has saved me at least $150 already in buying books…
And in case you don’t know, Amazon also provides quite a lot free or very cheap books. I remember I read these reviews about the benefits of the Kindle when I decided to buy it:

Finally, I think you are lucky that Amazon recently announced a price slash on the Kindle 2. It is now selling $60 cheaper than the price I got my Kindle… So take the chance.
