For my birthday in April I can get either an iPad or the Kindle 2. I’ve tried doing some research and thats not doing much for me. I want to be able to read e-books wherever I go and not have to hassle with a bunch of chords or mess with WiFi. If it helps I have an iPod Touch.
i’m confused i love reading and this would be great for me
but two things are bothering me
kindle 2 does not have color for books that’s fine but not for magazines
and they got rid of the SD slot
and do you know how long the battery life is for the new kindle
when did you think there will be a color kindle is that many generations away so I should buy a kindle now or should I wait in others word will there be a color kindle in the next generation or two thanks all of this will be a big help

I just recieved my amazon kindle 2 in the mail today. I received it as a gift for my birthday from my parents. My dad bought it on his amazon account, so it is registered to his name. Is there anyway i can change the name of who it is registered to, without changing the account it is registered to? Thanks in advanced for all of your help. 
When you purchase a Kindle 2 is it possible to request specific titles that may not be in the Amazon kindle store?
2 years ago for my b-day i got an amazon kindle (2nd generation) I like it very much, but in the experimental section it said i could download mp3 on it. can anybody help me on this???
