So, I’ve been hearing all this hype about Amazons Kindle 2 and how it can view Wikipedia. But can you sign in and edit it?

Yes, you can do it. It is a bit pain though, consider you need to do all the control with the little screen and keypad…
There is also an article talking about how to make better use out of the Kindle investment, guess you may be interested:

Not worth doing. The Kindle browser is so primitive that editing is not worth the time. The Kindle (v2) is for reading books and some basic, internet surfing capabilities. Maybe the v3 improves on some of the editing options.
The web browser on the Kindle is pretty basic, but you can edit Wikipedia (and other wikis) using it.
Yes, you can do it as Wikipedia is heavily text based, and the Kindle 2 handle such website pretty well. However, it must be less effective when compared to doing it on your computer.
If you are considering to buy the Kindle 2, I’ll suggest you to read the actual customer review section on Amazon. It is the most informative place, and they are actual opinions from Kindle 2 owners. You should be able to make up your mind after reading one or two reviews.
