Barnes and Noble Nook has the look, can it kill Kindle?
Barnes and Noble took the wraps off its own e-book reader yesterday, called the Nook, and while its very similar in some respects to the big kid on the block, the Amazon Kindle, its 3.5-inch touch-sensitive LCD screen and WiFi support have some understandably interested in the device. Nook demos will be hitting stores next week or so, so any doubters can check out the demo product. The nook provides storage of over 17,000 books and can also act as an instant dictionary if you don’t understand a word while you’re reading.
even if it does… i doubt it’ll be free!
i heard nook can’t go on the web so maybe no? unless i heard wrong…
does the nook give you free access to wikipedia? this was the main selling point for me with the kindle…
