I accidentally left the end of the power cord plugged in at a hotel when I pulled it out of the wall.

Use a second one for travel
I find the adapter to be much better than the one with the previous Kindle 1st, more friendly to use, more compact, more easy to carry.

Amazon Kindle replacement adaptor (+plug)
I had to replace the original adaptor and plug (they come as a 2 part set only) after the (tiny) plug part was lost in a suitcase on a trip.

Exactly the same!
After the dog chewed my original cord for my Kindle I order two replacements. Both came quickly and exactly the same as the one I originally owned. Both work great!

Works. Electricity seems to go from point A (wall) to point B (Kindle). At least that is what the little icon says. Maybe the icon should be writing this review…..mmmmmm
